Living in Balance

Living in Balance is beneficial to individuals established in recovery as well as those very early in their journey. The tools that you will receive as the result of attending these sessions will help you stay vigilant and focused on your road of recovery from addiction.

The Living in Balance program provides education, information, and experiences that will allow individuals to lead healthy and productive lives without the use of alcohol and other drugs by providing:

  • Accurate information about the substances of abuse, relapse prevention, self-help programs, medical and physical health, emotional and social health, sexual and spiritual health, and daily living skills.

  • Information for each session divided into manageable segments.

  • Written exercises in each session that help you better understand the information, and provide reinforcement for learned information.

  • Several role-play exercises that encourage intense interaction, discussion, and thought-provoking experiences.

  • Relaxation and visualization exercises.
