Programs at SpiritWorks

recovery community center

SpirtWorks Foundation operates a 3,000 square foot SpiritWorks Recovery Community Center, which provides a variety of programs and services for children, youth, and adults affected by drug and alcohol addiction. We believe recovery to be a self-defined process with many possible pathways to achieving the improved quality of life and well-being that comes with recovery.

We’re dedicated to helping individuals navigate those pathways and overcome obstacles they encounter on their journey to recovery. We try not to duplicate services that are currently available to the public.

recovery coach program

Recovery Coaching fills a great need for people in the recovery process, those who direct much of their energy towards successfully managing their sobriety but do not necessarily have the great lives that they could. Many traditional recovery and treatment programs give people in recovery important structure to overcome their problem behavior but frequently have the approach of brokenness and the need for “fixing.”

Recovery Coaching affirms the innate health and wellness in each of its clients. Recovery coaches use a strength-based approach so that clients find and utilize their strengths while being coached to success. Recovery Coaching addresses the specific life needs of people with substance use disorder and other addictive behaviors.

parents program

Parent’s Group is a group of parents who meet weekly on Thursday evenings to learn about the disease of addiction and to receive guidance and support for themselves.  The group is free and open to anyone with an adult child who is addicted.  The group provides hope for parents as they equip themselves with resources, education and support to help them cope with their situation.
