BROADway Babes Benefits SpiritWorks
On January 19 over 75 people gathered for an evening of food, fellowship, and entertainment to raise money for SpiritWorks. The BROADway Babes, featuring Christine Britton, sang show tunes from a variety of Broadway musicals and winter favorites like "Let it Snow." SpiritWorks' Director of Spiritual and Community Programming, the Rev. Lauren McDonald dedicated the song "Hold On" from The Secret Garden to the SpiritWorks community and all who are struggling to hold on to hope. She also made an appearance during "Dancing Queen." The benefit raised over $1100 for SpiritWorks.
We also introduced our SoBar 0 proof drinks. Caramel apple cider, Italian sodas, Strawberry and Blackberry lemonades, SoBar drinks delight the palate and provide a fun and festive replacement for alcoholic beverages. Several SpiritWorks community members served as SoBarristers.
The benefit raised both funds and friends for SpiritWorks, and we are grateful to all who made it happen!
